One of the questions in APESL’s March 2015 membership survey asked members how they wanted to participate in the APESL. As illustrated in the chart below, out of the 50 percent of the membership who participated in the survey, more than half wanted to help with student outreach and develop position statements for the APESL.
In response to such high interest in participating in the APESL and with one of the Executive Committee’s objectives being to engender maximum participation in the APESL, five committees were developed. Find out more about the committees on the overleaf.
The committees are currently structured such that a member of the Executive Committee is on each committee to coordinate setup of the committees and to ensure that the committees are functioning as planned. However, it is anticipated that each committee will eventually submit reports to the Executive Committee, thus allowing the latter more time to focus on charting the course of the APESL.
